A new season means it’s time to refresh your makeup, too!Inspired by the good looks that were noticed on the fall 2023 runways, here are 10 good looking trends that I propose for you to check out this fall.
1) Multipurpose Eyeliner
Grunge-inspired makeup is all the rage for fall 2023, as seen with this and other finishes below. There was a time when it was thought that flexible eyeliner was a good prelude to finishing the look because you could just close your eyes gently and make them look smaller, but the secret to making this look absolutely great is to finish the eyeliner and wear black and gray eyeshadow. to further blur hard lines. The end result is a fresh smoky eye.
Turn on “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo and prepare Twilight; Vampire red lips are back. Look for liquid formulas or creamy lipsticks in deep red shades and use a matching lip liner or lip brush to draw a sharp, defined line around your lips. Complete with gloss or lip oil for an ultra-shiny look.
If you’re in the mood to replace your hair with the same old slicked-back ponytail, why not check out some finger waves or a wavy hairline based on styles previously seen on Richard Quinn? You’ll need a trusty hair gel, a fine-tooth comb, and plenty of hairspray, but the end result is unique.
Give your sensitive cat gaze a break and transfer things upwards with a top-down eyeliner, like the flavor seen at the Dior Fall 2023 show. Use an eye pencil or eyeshadow stick and stick to tilt the outer corner down (instead of up, as you would with a cat’s eye), then fix it with the lowest point of the bottom of the eye. Use a brush to further blend the look.
Dress up in the best pink makeup and match your pink lipstick to the color of your cheeks. For a better fit, apply your lip product as usual and use it as a blush, spreading the pigment along your cheeks. Matching the color of your cheeks and lips is a simple way to complete your makeup, and with just one product!
Don’t be afraid to color the lines outdoors and extend the eyeshadow beyond the crease and into the eyebrows. A rich copper hue, like the one seen above in Jason Wu’s show, is a fun way to create a dramatic look in the middle of the night, but you can do it with any color you like.
At the other end of this season’s spectacular makeup spectrum is bareface trfinish, which encourages focused skincare and the use of strategic makeup to highlight your natural beauty. If you have bold brows, for example, make them the focal point of your makeup by defining them with a pencil and brow gel.
Lip liners are popular right now, but if you’re going to stop using exact pencils, I inspire you to take a look at this season’s soft, blemished lip trend. You don’t want to worry about getting it right; This look is all about creating a vivid, feathery lip color that blurs the lines, literally, between the lips and the rest of the face.
Let your lashes laugh with colorful and voluminous lashes. Kendall Jenner wears colorful feather-shaped extensions on the Prada runway, and you can use colored extensions for a very dramatic look, but if you’re looking for a more sophisticated way to achieve this look, you can also apply colored mascara.
Linked to other grunge eyeliner styles, the inverted cat eye highlights the bottom of the eye with an upward line from the inner corner, along the lower lash line, and toward the eyebrows.
