But on the first day of the month, we also lose a lot of content. By the end of August, Netflix will eliminate approximately 50 movies. Fortunately, you still have time to take a look at your favorites or maybe notice a new one.
In this article, I’m going to decide on what I think are ten highlights of the videos that will be coming out of Netflix on September 1. And at the end of the article, I’ll place a complete list of videos coming out of the platform.
If you followed one of my articles, you’ll know one thing about me: I love Michael Bay. And even if he’s not his favorite director, everyone seems to agree that the bad boys’ videos are pretty impressive. Personally, Bad Boys for Life wasn’t for me. I prefer the Bay edition of Bad Boys, which is incredibly wild and (certainly ridiculous) a laugh from start to finish.
Every year it turns out that there is a foreign film that captures american audiences through the storm. And while I was on the film festival circuit in 2013, I knew that blue is the warmest color would be the foreign film everyone would talk about that year. In fact, the film was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. The film follows a French teenager who bureaucrats a deep emotional and sexual bond with an older art student.
Note: Blue is the color Netflix left on August 25.
Like I didn’t come with Clueless on this list! I’ve enjoyed this movie for as long as I can remember. Today, it’s an eternal task like no other film. Amy Heckerling has a special ability to take movies to new and attractive places, and Clueless never lets it go. For those who haven’t noticed: Clueless follows a rich, socially disgusting student named Cher who makes the decision to play the cuesly at her best school.
For a long time, I didn’t realize the good philosophical looks of Groundhog Day. I enjoyed the film as a laughing adventure that played very well with its fantastic formula. But after further visits, you begin to perceive the profound vision of Nietzsche’s concept of eternal recurrence, it’s no joke. There is wonderful sadness and clarity at the center of the film, and all of this highlights the importance of living life to the fullest every day.
I feel compelled to include Jerry Maguire on this list. In my early years in college, I said it was my favorite movie of all time. And my tastes have replaced since, I’ve never been able to get rid of the feeling this Cameron Crowe movie gives me. Tom Cruise provides mythical functionality as a main character, who tries to flourish in his empty life after wasting his homework on a corporation of high-power sports agents.
I have to be transparent from the beginning: I may like this movie for other reasons of yours. I think there’s a genuine thrill to discover in the romance between Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves at The Lake House. But… I also think it’s a really crazy movie that’s accidentally funny. Anyway, you shake it, The Lake House is a wonderful watch. The film follows an architect and a doctor who writes lettersArray himself. through a magical mailbox. If that description doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will do it.
Warning: this movie is not for everyone. Psychotic behavior, random violence, many curses: this Seth Rogen movie is a bit polarizing. But it doesn’t look like any other movie I’ve ever seen. And that’s why I strongly propose it. Observe and Report follows Ronnie Barnhardt, the head of security at a small shopping mall in the city. When an uncontrollable flashing light begins to terrorize his workplace, Ronnie embarks on a project to shoot the criminal.
Perhaps the craziest fact about Tootsie is how much money he made in 1982. At the time, its $177.2 million was the biggest time of the year (only E.T. the alien in 1982). This made Tootsie Columbia’s national good fortune at the time. The film follows a troubled New York actor who reinvents himself as an actress named Dorothy Michaels and wins a role in a soap opera. He then has to remain the character while falling in love with his co-star.
I wish it was a joke, but I like Valentine’s Day. Where I discovered that New Year’s Eve, also tonic and structured, is laborious, winding and predictable, Valentine’s Day is honest, moving and exciting. Each of the relationships explored in the film has its own aura and captivating angle, allowing the overall technique of the film to succeed in its full perspective in the form of romantic comedy.
It turns out that most people who know The Wicker Man only know the 2006 remake with Nicolas Cage. And I presented the remake for such bad reasons, I presented the 1973 edition of the film for such clever reasons. The film focuses on a policeman investigating the report of a missing child on a remote Scottish island. And the more he learns about the islanders’ strange witchcraft practices, the closer he gets to the child’s hunt.
Note: The Wicker Man leaves Netflix on August 28.
