But that first day, we also lose a lot of videos. And in particular, Amazon Prime, which has a larger video library than any streaming service, will say goodbye to a lot of videos on August 1.
Fortunately, you still have time to take a look at your favorites (or notice a new favorite). Here are ten videos to watch before they expire on Amazon Prime at the end of July:
Michael Mann and Will Smith? Yes, I’m going to point that out. Mann’s unique aesthetic and theater thirst provide a foundation for Smith to deliver one of the most important performances in history. Ali is a surprising and moving tribute to the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali.
Camilla Belle and Alexa PenaVega star in their forgotten comic romance about two Beverly Hills sisters who don’t have a penny after their father’s death. What the film supposedly lacks in weight and drama is offset by laughter and wit. Also, From Prada to Nada has a lot more center than it looks.
David Fincher has made so many classics over the years: Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network. But they all head to his 2002 Panic Room mental mystery, which features Jodie Foster’s character Meg, trapped in a panicy room while their space is stolen through thieves (played through Forest Whitaker and Jared Leto). The film also features first functionality through Kristen Stewart.
Laura Linney’s acting talents are appreciated in Hollywood, but it turns out that it goes unnoticed and continually underestimated. She was, at the very least, revered with an Oscar nomination for her performance in You Can Count On Me, a drama in which she plays an overprotective mother.
Kurt Russell’s charming fluid locks peaked in the 1990s. He and his hair gave perfect functionality throughout Kathleen Quinlan in the mysterious breakdown mystery of 1997, in which Russell’s character Jeffrey searches for his absent wife in the desert.
This 2005 black comedy stars Evan Rachel Wood when she began gaining momentum in Hollywood. After his wonderful performance in the film Thirteen, Pretty Persuasion unearths Wood’s character, Kimberly, conspiring with his two friends to falsely accuse his assault instructor. Despite how disturbing this description of the plot might seem, the film goes far beyond to explore how sexual harassment, discrimination and suicide in a school setting.
If you don’t know the good looks of a Charles Bronson police movie, this turns out to be the most productive time to solve this problem. Death Wish is probably Bronson’s most productive and well-known film, capturing and presenting the hard and hard character of the famous action star. Death Wish focuses on a character named Paul who is for a thief who murdered his wife.
Hilary Swank hasn’t starred in a ton of videos in the last decade. But when he did, he made it worth it, and that includes You’re Not You. In this 2014 drama, Swank plays a classical pianist named Kate who has been diagnosed with ALS.
This 1990 romance stars Jane Fonda and Robert De NiroArray. I mean more? Although many enjoy this film, I don’t think it’s ever gained the popularity it deserves. Stanley – Iris focuses on a woman named Iris (played through Fonda) who mourns the loss of her husband. But his life begins to replace after assembling local cook Stanley.
Few actresses were older in the 1990s than Sally Field, who won no one or two Oscars for Best Actress: one for Norma Rae in 1980 and 1985 for Places in the Heart. She carried this momentum in the 1990s and in a film as Eye for an Eye. In this mystery starring Kiefer Sutherland, Field plays a working mother, Karen, who needs revenge on the guy who killed her daughter.
