The Momento Quay X Lizzo collection, now available in Quay.com, includes a variety of glamorous sunglasses (the more, the better), blue light goggles and even a mask.
Before the election, Quay plans to raise awareness of electoral barriers that have a disproportionate effect on communities of color in the United States, such as access to mail ballots, voter identity needs, and disenfran breakfast. Quay supports confidence that voter education is important, voter access and representation are important.
From an artistic point of view, Quay was assisted by Lizzo’s artistic director, Quinn Wilson, to design and film the campaign, amplifying black excellence in front of the camera.
The fact is that Lizzo is the ideal wife for Quay, because self-expression, self-love and accepting as true are key elements of the philosophy and mission of the brand. The multiplatinum artist, who was among The “30 Under 30” of Forbes in 2018 and born Melissa Jefferson, is an original representation of perseverance, courage and the strength to use her voice without excuse. Lizzo’s rise and glory was not easy: she lived in her car for years as a suffering artist, until her single “Truth Hurts” went viral and became practically the 2019 anthem (two years after its original version).
