One of the most reassuring things for the travel industry is that the pandemic, hotel chains and individual homes around the world have continued to open new hotels.

These corporations and hoteliers realize that we will triumph over this global physical fitness crisis and that the global will return to normal. That’s why they’re not slowing down safe progression projects. In fact, some pretty amazing hotels have opened this summer and others will soon be debuting.

So even though many of us are staying at home at this point, we probably need to put these homes on your list of mandatory homes for times when it’s safer to travel.

The big news on the East Coast is the double opening of Hyatt’s Wyndhurst Manor Club and Miraval Berkshires on the same property. A Canopy through Hilton is also open in Philadelphia and in Rhode Island, a sports club committed to activities has arrived.

World of Hyatt has a new complex in the Berkshires. Part of the destination hotels, the Wyndhurst Manor Club is a reinvention of a Golden Age Berkshires mansion and cottage. The hotel features sublime rooms, a swimming pool, an 18-hole golf course and a fitness centre. There are also two restaurants: a tavern serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and the sophisticated Fireside Bistro 1894 serving lunch and dinner.

You will have to choose, at most, which topics to address when opting for 46 separate rooms, adding 19 suites, spread across the mansion, Beecher’s Cottage and 3 small huts. For maximum spacious king-size rooms, determine in one in the mansion building as they range from 420 to 672 square feet. You can also determine on a mountain and golf course view.

Standard rooms start with 25,000 night-consistent Editions of the World of Hyatt, while Premium suites, such as the 750-square-foot mansion suite with two queen-size beds, start with 50,000 editions.

Also from Hyatt and on the same heritage of Wyndhurst Manor is the long-awaited Miraval Berkshires. This is the brand’s third outpost after the original tucson and austin homes.

Designed for discerning visitors to a high-caliber retreat and intimate well-being, the heritage is nestled on 380 acres and has only a hundred rooms. Highlights come with a giant outdoor pool and an 18-hole golf course.

Outdoor enthusiasts will be drawn to the equine program at Meadowview Stables and the nearby farm where much of the property’s produce is grown. Guests can even take classes on raising chickens and beekeeping or explore the adjacent forest, which is popular for hiking. Back to nature, indeed. If you’re more inspired by culinary pursuits, visit the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen — with touches by Williams Sonoma — where you can take cooking classes or enjoy a five-course Chef’s Table experience.

But the real design here is the 29,000 square foot Life in Balance Spa. In addition to 28 medicine rooms, an indoor pool is reserved for water-based remedies.

Miraval Suite King suites start with 75,000 copies while the Premium Suite Queen starts with 105,000 copies. You can earn copies with The World of Hyatt credit card, one of our favorites to earn hotel copies.

Much is in the southern hotel industry. Discover features in Key West, Miami and Orlando, as well as boutique homes in Savannah and Charleston and a grassy mansion in Austin.

Kimpton Key West is intriguing because it’s not a beach resort, but five historic sites: Winslow bungalows, Lighthouse Hotel, Ella’s Cottages, Fitch Lodge and Ridley House. The new locations were opened for a brief week in March, before coronavirus closed all Key West bungalows. Once guests can make a stop at winslow bungalows and lighthouse hotel, the other 3 locations will be open for the remainder of 2020.

In the heart of Key West’s Old Town, Winslow’s bungalows date back to 1856, named after the American painter who lived in the city in the summer. The 85-room complex features an incredibly lush garden, 3 swimming pools and a bar. (This heritage used to be the Chelsea Hotel and the Lime Inn.) Rooms start in 40,000 IHG Rewards Club editions plus a $30 daily fee.

The Lighthouse Hotel (formerly Lighthouse Court Hotel) dates back to 1858 and is a fantastic home base if you plan to visit Hemingway’s home and the Key West Lighthouse, both just steps away. The property also has a pool and bar, and rooms here start at 32,500 IHG points plus a $30 per day resort fee.

You may already have a favorite points hotel in Miami, but we love checking out newcomers and the Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach — at the cusp of the Sunset Harbour neighborhood — is an exciting addition. Kobi Karp, a storied Miami architect, designed the property to be an urban respite, but also close to the best restaurants, nightlife and shops.

The hotel and its 96 rooms have been designed around a central atrium and the look is reminiscent of the hull of a yacht. The foyer is an amazing one with gentle traditional installations, art exhibitions, short forms and fabrics that echo the tides of the ocean.

Many rooms have balconies overlooking Biscayne Bay. There is also a rooftop swimming pool and a two-story terrace. When you need to get to the beach, loose transfers to the Kimpton Beach Club must be made in South Beach. Later this summer, the Italian restaurant Morini Osteria Romagnola will open on site. Rooms start running with 25,000 copies of IHG plus a daily apartment fee of $30.

Legoland Florida Resort’s last hotel, Pirate Island, debuted in June. For families, this 150-room heritage makes so much sense because it’s just steps from Legoland. This is legoland Florida Resort’s last hotel, which you can gently take refuge in your room when you want to get away from the heat, the crowds or dress in your face mask all day in the park.

The greatest merit for families is that the room has a separate mastery to sleep for children. Parents can stay awake later than the little ones without sneaking around an open plant, whispering in the dark. Now it’s a treat! The children’s domain is also very themed and some rooms even have bunk beds. Standard rooms can accommodate up to two adults and three children, while suites can accommodate up to five children.

Other perks come with an in-room treasure hunt with Lego prizes, loose breakfast and parking. In addition to being close to Legoland, the hotel has a heated swimming pool, a children’s play area, a food venue and children’s nightlife. Families also have access to the Master Model Builder experience. For an additional fee, visitors can take pontoon tours on Lake Éloise or play on a miniature nine-hole golf course.

JW Marriott’s Savannah Plant Riverside District opened on July 29 – and that’s smart news for many TPG workers who call it one of their favorite small towns in the south. Occupying an old power station, all the ancient architectural elements of this 1912 building remain intact. Its location along the Savannah Riverwalk makes it ideal, whether you’re visiting for a laugh or attending a conference in the middle of the conference across the river.

Guests can decide on a room in one of the 3 buildings: the power plant appeals to those who like a trace of history. Romantics decide on the Three Muses, while the Atlantic rooms have an ambitious and fresh maritime aesthetic.

As a full-service hotel, locate a variety of restaurants ranging from Starbucks to a tequila bar and canteen, a fried food and seafood pavilion along the river, as well as a steakhouse, Biergarten and pizzeria.

If you have a loose night certificate of 50,000 copies, such as the one you receive on your card’s birthday with the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant ™ American Express®, you can use it at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District off-peak hours.

If you like southern cities as much as we do, Emeline – which opened July 1 in Charleston’s historic district – will be of interest to you. The elegant entrance, with its Roman Corinthian pediment, is lovely and invites visitors to notice the goods inside.

The boutique hotel has 212 rooms with all beds, adding 128 suites, around a courtyard and a greenhouse. You will embroider Matouk sheets and towels; Red Flower bath products; Free Wi-Fi; plush dresses; and the use of a Charleston box guide. Suites are adorned with Crosley turntables and vinyl records.

The hotel also offers a dog program, motorcycle loans, a full shop of made products and various dining options.

When we checked the August nights through a Chase Sapphire Reserve account, we gained 14,100 numbers consistent with the night for a king-size room overlooking the city and 16,140 numbers for the Voyageur suite with a king-size bed and a queen-size sofa. Or, eebook through the Chase portal and pay with your Chase credits to earn Ultimate Rewards numbers.

There’s a new vision of a monument in Austin, Texas: the revamped Commodore Perry Estate, Hostel Resorts Collection. The secluded 10-acre complex is in the city centre (in Austin Hancock’s central district) and is punctuated through French gardens and a courtyard, while the Renaissance-style Italian mansion evokes a European country house setting.

Special attention has been paid to the variety of unique antique furniture. Book a one- or two-bedroom Mansion Suite, at most with dining tables for at least 4 people and showers in the bathroom. Some have old windows that give a view of the lawn. It is also possible to book rooms or suites at the hostel. The 400 sq. ft. rooms have Juliet balconies or French doors that open onto the lawns or patio. The giant one-bedroom suites have unique amenities (think: the deep bath of the Pomegranate Suite) and have a personal lawn or terrace.

The property is also a selection destination for meals, with menus featuring Texas Heritage cuisine based on property-grown produce, sustainable seafood and dry-aged steaks on site. Lutie’s dining room opens in the fall.

You can use your Chase Ultimate Rewards issues to book a remnant in the Commodore Perry Estate. The proposed fee depends on the type of card, but when we check with a booking account, August nights charge just under 30,000 issues. Or, use a card like the Capital One Credit Card® Venture® Rewards, and then “delete” your miles employment travel expenses at a 1 cent exchange consistent with the mile.

In the Midwest, an exceptional hotel from the autograph collection in Indiana speaks to the artist and musician of us.

While the most of the hotels on this list are on the coast, the Carmichael Hotel, from the Marriott’s autograph collection, stands out.

In Carmel, Indiana, an hour from Indianapolis International Airport (IND), the hotel overlooks the Performing Arts Center and the Carmel Arts – Design District. This boutique hotel is designed to attract creatives far beyond the Midwest.

There are some design elements that set hotel Carmichael apart. First, the hotel has a huge wood-burning oven – which, he says, is marriott’s heritage to have this feature. Each room has a chandelier and there is also a musical element. The hotel will host the moment cabaret of Michael Festinstein (based on the New York original), who will come with a personal dinner as well as famous artists at the foyer’s bar.

The hotel, which opens in August, is a category four of Marriott’s Bonvoy program. Off-peak dates are 20,000 numbers consistent with the night, dates are 25,000, and peak dates are 30,000 numbers consistent with the night.

And, finally, on the West Coast, you can check out new hotels from Aman, Marriott and Fairmont.

Amangiri’s new Sarika camp in Canyon Point, Utah, which opened in early July, is tailored for a socially remote vacation. The collection includes 10 one- and two-bedroom tent pavilions for up to 30 people, and is surrounded by six hundred acres of utah desert – area enough for you and your group. Here, it’s about communicating with nature, observing clouds, exploring vermilion rock formations, and probing the night sky in search of stars.

Each luxury tent includes one or two bedrooms, a separate lounge, a dining room, a bar and a terrace with fireplace and a personal deep heated pool. There is also a public pavilion with two spa suites, a restaurant, a well-exposed terrace, a swimming pool and a hot tub. You can also take a 30-minute walk (or five-minute drive) to Camp Sarika’s spouse complex, Amangiri, to enjoy all its amenities.

The Glenmark Hotel, which opened in mid-July in Glendale, California, is intimate and artistic. With only 85 rooms, the goods probably wouldn’t feel crowded, but it has plenty of amenities on site – from the rooftop eating spot to the rooftop bar (the tallest in town) and a well-designed fitness centre – to satisfy guests.

As a component of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the hotel focuses on the arts. In fact, the corridor features works through local artists as well as replicas of masters such as Picasso and Dali. And Kevin Barry Fine Art organized the rooms in each room. Each room also has a connected 140cm TV, mini fridge and loose Wi-Fi. Call the front table to order more appliances, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, bathrobe or iron and ironing board.

The hotel’s 1,000-square-foot gym includes platoon table bikes, loose weights, aerobic appliances, and more. And you’d possibly like to use the gym after some food at Olia, the on-site food venue that serves French Mediterranean and provincial dishes designed through chef Tony Trujillo.

The Glenmark Hotel is a Category 6 property in the Marriott Bonvoy program. Redeem 40,000 points per night for off-peak dates and 60,000 on peak nights. If you have a 50,000-point free night certificate, you can use it on standard dates.

What is the list of new hotels with the most style in the country, mentioning this redesigned landmark of Los Angeles?

Formerly the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, the mid-century fashion building – designed through architect Minoru Yamasaki in the mid-1960s – was remodeled through foreign design firm Yabu Pushelberg. Assets reopen this fall as Fairmont Century Plaza. Next to the studios of 20th Century Fox, this is precisely the kind of position where you can just meet your favorite Hollywood celebrities.

There are 400 guest rooms — each with a balcony or patio. Guests can book suites, king rooms or double rooms. A highlight of the new Fairmont is the rooftop pool with cabanas and bar service. It’s likely to become the place to see and be seen. We’re also looking forward to snagging a reservation at Lumiere, an American brasserie with James Beard Award-nominated executive chef Jason Franey at the stove.

And you can’t miss the 14,000-square-foot Fairmont Square Spa with experimental showers, a Himalayan salt room, a sanitist, an aromatherapy steam room, a steam sauna and more.

You can redeem your Accor Live Limitless issues for one at Fairmont Century Plaza, which can now be transferred from Capital One at a rate of 2 to 1 (so 1000 Miles of Capital One will earn you 500 ALL Rewards issues).
