It has everything that made the YAS-209 amazing, with the exception of the wireless bass box (which creates stunning bass): awesome sound, Alexa and Spotify on board, various sound modes, support for Dolby Digital and DTS Virtual: X, and a multitude of connection functions (it has two HDMI ports and Wi-Fi connectivity in addition to the same old ports). Alexa integration is a special focus because it allows you to use this soundbar as a smart speaker. You can ask almost anything and control the soundbar through a voice command to replace the volume, skip a song, or replace the font. As for sound presets, cinema mode is probably our favorite because it gives a definition of crystalline discussion and surround sound elements. For home theater-quality surround sound without ruining, get the Yamaha YAS-109 from Best Buy for $200 instead of $220.

Like the Yamaha YAS-109, the Samsung HW-S60T is compact and lacks a wireless subwoofer. Well, not exactly as it’s integrated, the explanation of why the bass is incredibly rich. This can be smart for other people with a minimal garage area who don’t need to think of a separate giant submarine. Despite its relatively small shape, you don’t have to worry about the fact that the HW-S60T offers lower-than-right quality in the surround sound department. Seeing Paddington with it has made us listen to all the main points and nuances of sophisticated audio that any multi-speaker speaker formula can offer. Alexa is on board so you can enjoy hands-free operation if the remote is out of range. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also built-in so you can play your Spotify music directly from your phone. Unfortunately, this soundbar does not have an HDMI port and only has optics, which is confusing as the less expensive Yamaha YAS-109 has two. If you’re looking for a wide sound level but don’t have room for many speakers, the 3-d immersive sound replica of the Samsung HW-S60T pressed in its relatively small shape will impress you. Get it for $300 instead of $330 at Best Buy.
