Confirming recent rumors that Atom Smasher will appear in the upcoming film Black Adam, THR reports that Noah Centineo (to all the guys I’ve enjoyed before) has been selected to play the DC Comics hero.

Centineus, who has also been connected to the film Masters of the Universe, will register with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the titular antihero.

In the comics, Atom Smasher, also known as Albert Rothstein, is a mountain of men who has the ability to grow to almost any length of his selection and develop his strength exponentially. He has already appeared live on an episode of The Flash of The CW.

Black Adam was originally scheduled to start filming this month, but the COVID-19 pandemic has made it impossible. It seemed that production was not going to be too late (Johnson recently said that the cameras would be introduced in August of September), however, the most recent update estimates that it will now be the beginning of 2021.
