A leading company focused on virtual transformation.
On Tuesday, Uber announced that the company’s painters could voluntarily paint from home until June 2021.
“As a flexible work-based company, we need to provide our team with long-term flexibility, selection and clarity so they can plan ahead,” the company told Business Insider.
To accommodate this change, Uber will offer a $500 stipend to workers who set up their home office.
If the premises open before June 2021, workers will have the option to return if they feel comfortable. Uber said that regardless of the worker’s decision, it will not be included in the functionality assessments.
While the company has announced that it will rethink the policy of an extension imaginable in the spring of 2021, the policy itself will not be shortened.
For drivers, Uber offers monetary assistance guides and one that allows drivers to locate another labor bureaucracy if they can’t earn the same amount of cash as in March before the coronavirus pandemic curbed the car’s sharing request. The company has not announced any driver assignments at this time.
Uber joins a long list of corporations that have extended their work policies from home to 2021. Facebook and Google have also announced policies.
