If you’re looking for an all-star lineup, this movie has Al Pacino and James Marsden in supporting roles, so find some familiar faces and plenty of exciting sequences here. It also has an excellent running time of just under two hours, making it very productive for a fun evening. Potentially one that will make our list of the most productive Max movies.

Resurrected Rides offers a remake of MTV’s classic favorite, Pimp My Ride, which aired from 2004 to 2007, employing modern automotive art to help owners of their older cars with traditional rides. Produced through Pimp My Ride co-creator Rick Hurvitz, Resurrected Rides sees comedian Chris Redd work with automotive experts to breathe new life into broken-down vehicles.  

You don’t have to be a petrolhead to enjoy Resurrected Rides, so if you fancy a casual backseat ride this weekend, check out this series of engine swaps.  

This weekend’s big blockbuster action movie tip is Guy Ritchie’s new film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, on Prime Video. Based on the true story of the first Special Forces operation, which shaped World War II through Winston Churchill, this clever spy comedy follows a set of mavericks and rebellious thugs played by Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer and Hero Fiennes. . Tiffin and Henry Golding embark on an audacious project known in real life as Operation Postmaster.  

The film is very loosely based on Damien Lewis’ 2014 book, Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. In fact, it’s an exaggerated editing of the truth, with maverick characters and big-screen action sequences, spiced up with witty arguments and plenty of explosions.
