Trump’s crusade started an advertising company connected to MyPillow, a company whose CEO is a donor and best friend of the president, to buy some of his television broadcast time.

The company, LifeBrands, bought airtime for Trump’s crusade in Florida and North Carolina this week at the Democratic National Convention, according to officials from Medium Buying, a Republican ad-buying company.

A spokesman for Trump’s crusade declined to comment and it is unclear how LifeBrands came to the paintings for the crusade.

But MyPillow executive leader Mike Lindell is a best friend and donor who has made the impression several times under the Trump administration. More recently, Lindell met with the president at the White House in July and evangelized oleandrin, an unproven treatment, as a cure for coronavirus.

Lindell’s withdrawal of the drug, and Trump’s solution to the coronavirus, has alarmed some White House officials.
