Juventus and Fenerbahce could end up swapping two players this summer, Calciomercato explains.
The Turkish giants recently named Jose Mourinho as their new head coach, and the latter could attract some Serie A stars east of Istanbul this summer.
In recent weeks, Fenerbahçe have been linked with a resolution through Weston McKennie, who is now found surplus for Juventus’ needs.
The USMNT just finished its most impressive crusade since joining the Italian giants in 2020. However, Thiago Motta intends to rely on his services.
On the other hand, Juventus would be interested in Ferdi Kadioglu’s player. Tuttosport (via IlBianconero) also reports on this story.
The 24-year-old was born in the Netherlands and began his career at NEC Nijmegen before joining Fenerbahce in 2018.
The full-back has now established himself as a regular starter for his club and the Turkish national team.
Kadioglu plays as a left-back, but as a right-footed player he can comfortably have compatibility on the opposite flank.
He would be an attractive addition to Motta’s backline, who has been lacking depth lately.
In addition, Juventus could sign the Turkish star without a place outside the EU thanks to his Dutch passport.
The left-back’s contract with the Turkish national team is valid until June 2026. So far he has played 150 games for the club and scored 16 goals.
That would be surprising. But I doubt it very much. It is very good in euros. Mckennie is not enough to achieve this.
