EXCLUSIVE: ABC game show The $100,000 pyramid returns to the studio in August week.
The series presented through Michael Strahan is set in New York and it is an idea that it is one of the first major un scripted entertainment exhibitions to return to the New York studio, where Strahan is filming Good Morning America.
This comes after The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon returned to 30 Rock a few weeks ago with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert making plans to return to the studio next week.
The program, in the format created through Bob Stewart in 1973, is a word arrangement game in which two celebrities and their partners compete in an opposite race to the time to enter the winner’s circle and win $100,000.
On the eve of its fifth season on ABC, the series originally scheduled to begin production in June, but stopped at coVID-19 production. It is produced through Strahan’s SMAC Entertainment in agreement with Sony Pictures Television and an executive produced through Strahan, Constance Schwartz-Morini and Vin Rubino.
The series will be filmed with the same old protocols of physical conditioning and protection with crews and competition with their proven temperatures, with EPI devices and social distance measurements. While the screen works with a studio audience, as you can imagine, there may be no one in the studio this time.
