New York is officially back in the television production industry.The cameras began filming the ABC drama series For Life, starring Nicholas Pinnock, and the LIMITED-time HBO series Max The Flight Attendant, starring and produced by Kaley Cuoco.
For Life is believed to be the first series to resume production in New York; began filming its season at the moment on August 26.Executive manufacturer Curts “50 Cent” Jackson released a symbol of star Pinnock dressed in a mask saturday on set (you can see it below).
Warner Bros.TV’s The Flight Attendant resumed filming today.Star/executive manufacturer Cuoco shared the news on Instagram along with photographs of her and her co-star Michiel Huisman, whether dressed in masks.(You can see them below the post).
New York allowed film and television production to resume last month when the city entered phase four when it reopened.At that time, Anne del Castillo, commissioner of the Mayor of Media and Entertainment, called the restart of the August production in the city as a “security”.bets.”
For Life is ahead of schedule with the start of season 2 production in August, fitting one of the first ABC scripted series to begin filming its new season.The drama, starring creator/executive maker Hank Steinberg and executive manufacturer Jackson, spent spring in the bubble before winning a season 2 renewal in June for a mid-season debut in 2021.With its speed in the Era of Black Lives Matter and a developing social justice movement, the series may potentially be for the fall, especially with most ABC-scripted fall exhibits that have not yet begun production.
Sony TV has been at the forefront of resumption of production, as several of its series are already being filmed, adding S.W.A.T.for CBS, which began filming in Los Angeles on August 4; ABC, The Goldbergs, which began filming on August 24, also in Los Angeles; and For Life, which followed on August 26. Sony TV dramas The Good Doctor and The Blacklist are also about to begin production (the Apple series from the For All Mankind studio was also filmed).

The limited series Flight Waiting HBO Max, starring and executively produced through Cuoco, just days after filming episode 6 of its eight-episode order, when in early March it halted production due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus.

The series had completed all filming abroad scheduled before the end of March, so the remaining production is made entirely in New York.
The Flight Attendant tells how a total life can be replaced in one night. Cassie (Cuoco) is a flight attendant who wakes up at the hotel, in bed, with a dead guy, not knowing what happened. Rosie Pérez, Michiel Huisguy, Zosia Mamet, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge and Griffin Matthews are also on the bill.
The dark comedian thriller, produced through Cuoco, Yockey, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin, is in the novel through Chris Bohjalian.
Warner’s supernatural Bros.TV is filming its final two episodes in Vancouver, and several studio series are focusing on a production reboot.
