The 50-year-old Star of Love My Way and Puberty Blues arrested Saturday and charged with attack with physical damage and undeniable attack.
His wife, film and television director Shannon Murphy, issued an order of violence against him.
The actor appeared in a local courthouse Wednesday morning, but his lawyer told Judge Jane Mottley that Wyllie would plead guilty.
The case is next in court on August 26, where Wyllie must also attend.
