Actor Johnny Ortiz has been arrested for premeditated manslaughter after being arrested in May.
Ortiz, who starred in the film Breaking Bad El Camino and starred alongside Kevin Costner in McFarland, USA, is recently arrested, TMZ reports.
According to legal documents received through the site, Ortiz murdered a guy named Brian Duke in what is described as a gang-related incident.

Another man, Armando Miguel Navarro, is cited in legal documents as the accused of committing the attempted murder and “pulling the trigger”, while Ortiz’s role is unclear.
The documents state that the alleged attempted murder “for the benefit, direction and settlement of a street gang of criminals, with the express intention of publicitarating, publicitarating and assisting in the corrupt conduct of gang members.”
The actor has pleaded guilty and is scheduled to attend an initial hearing on Monday, with a bail set at $1,120,000.

A GoFundMe account has been created through Ortiz’s circle of relatives, which says the actor is ‘in a criminal and is fighting for his case for which he is innocent,’ adding, ‘We need our dear member of the family circle to come back with us. ”
Ortiz wrote in April of this year that it is an “honor” to be part of the Netflix film Breaking Bad El Camino.
He captioned the message: “What an honor to be part of a story. Breaking Bad Movie Release date October 11, 2019. Comment on what do you think of the film? Did you get me into this? #Breakingbad #films #classic #oneinthebooks #netflix’.
The actor starred alongside Jennifer Garner the criminal mystery Peppermint and played the role of Tony Gutierrez in the American Crime series in 2015.
His first film credit was playing a journalist in Muhammad Ali’s 2001 biographical film starring Will Smith.
