As production resumes, Disney’s Rogue One prequel has selected a cast member. According to Deadline, Adria Arjona will play Diego Luna in the series Cassian Andor.
Details of Arjona’s role were released. However, he has already headlined NBC’s Emerald City as Dorthy Gale, with roles in True Detective and Good Omens. She is also known for her roles in 6 Underground, The Belko Experiment and Pacific Rim: Uprising.
Alan Tudyk will also meet Luna and provide the voice of Cassian’s droid, K-2SO. In addition, Genevieve O’Reilly will reinterpret his role as Mon Mothma for the series. Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller were also selected.
Rogue One co-fascist Tony Gilroy rewrites Cassian Andor’s pilot. Gilroy will direct several episodes. Americans Stephen Schiff is the showrunner of the series.
So far, Disney has revealed when Cassian Andor will begin production. The screen is also lately windowless at Disney. But it will most likely reach the end of 2021 or 2022.
