The star of the film franchise, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, landed his next starring role in an Irish mystery, Mr. Smith.
Directed by Declan O’Dwyer of Miss Scarlett And The Duke and based on his screenplay previously titled Broken Cove, Mr. Smith will begin production in Ireland in February 2024 (via Screen Daily).
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince star Fiennes Tiffin will take on the lead role of Mr. Smith, a guy who returns to Broken Cove, a whiskey-soaked Irish port, in search of his brother’s killer.

When Smith’s brother leaves him a list of names, Smith violently navigates into the sinister bowels of the community, reigniting a feud between relatives.
After the body of a young woman, whose call is also on Smith’s list, is discovered washed away to the local dam, the town’s sheriff is forced to investigate and intervene, knowing that Smith is determined to get revenge.
As his family’s dark history is uncovered, Smith soon discovers that his brother’s sadistic murder is part of a plan to lure him to Broken Cove.
Zoe Rocha of RubyRock Pictures is on board to produce the project, while Fiennes Tiffin, Nadine de Barros of Fortitude International and Joey Stanton of Vybe Tribe will serve as executive producers.

Speaking about the upcoming project, director O’Dwyer, who plays Mr Smith’s main character, as an “anti-hero”, said he was very happy to be returning to Ireland to film.
“I’m thrilled to join forces with Fortitude, RubyRock, Joey Stanton and Hero to bring Anti-Hero M. Smith. Et to life. I’m thrilled to be returning to Ireland to tell this authentic, visceral and non-public story. history,” he said.
