AMC cinemas offering tickets at 15 cents on the day of reopening

(RTTNews) – AMC cinemas (AMC) plan to reopen a hundred of their sites on August 20 after they were completed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On the day of the reopening, tickets will charge only 15 cents, the same value as tickets sold when the channel was founded in 1920 through Dubinsky Brothers in Kansas City, Missouri.

The network plans to reopen its theaters in the United States. The company aims to open about two-thirds of its more than six hundred sites until September 3, when Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” is expected to be released.

Meanwhile, primary market officials such as New York and Los Angeles still approved the reopening of theaters due to concerns about public fitness.

Overseas, around a third of all AMC cinemas in Europe and the Middle East are already open and normally open.

AMC is the largest film showing company in the United States, the largest in Europe and the largest in the world with approximately 1,000 cinemas and 11,000 screens worldwide.
