Janelle Mone’s next film, Antebellum, will be released in September.
Lionsgate, the film’s corporate release, has revealed that the next horror film will go through theaters next month and head straight to the virtual release as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues.
Written and directed through Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, Mone describes the best-selling Veronica Henley, who is kidnapped and forced to live a horrible truth in which she is a slave.
Mone’s character then faces the task of himself by finding the mind-blowing mystery of his situation.
Speaking about the virtual release, Lionsgate President Joe Drake said, “While the theatrical party remains the center of our business, we are thrilled to be able to seize the opportunity to fit Gerard and Chris’ urgent and fast film into a release. Strategy worthy of this moment of ordinary change.
In a joint statement, Bush and Renz added: “While we designed Antebellum to feed as a web of delight in theater, we are thrilled with the unique opportunity we have to transfer to another kind of network moment in our culture.
“As we face the realities of systemic racism in our country, which have intensified to this tipping point in 2020, we see how imperative it is to bring Antebellum to the broadest audience imaginable, while prioritizing fitness and security.
“We fervently hope that by sharing our film widely, both nationally and internationally, let’s make cinematic delight at home become a genuine event.”
Speaking about his lead role in the project, Mone recently told the Huffington Post, “I know it’s about to open to another size in my life as an artist and actor, and it’s actually one of my most complex and challenging roles.” for this day.”
