ASV launches new MAX chargers

ASV, a manufacturer of compact track loaders and compact chargers, its new MAX Series chargers on a virtual occasion on August 18.

One of the most notable features of the MAX series device is the emergency evacuation through the roof trapdoor, the first in the industry. Other protection features come with larger ceiling openings and fully glazed sides with sliding windows.

“For a compact construction, it’s anything we bring to the table and we’re excited about that,” Storlie said of the escape through the roof trapdoor. “This gives us a much faster and less difficult emergency evacuation. You don’t have to move slowly from the back over the hot engine compartment, as you would on our competitors’ machines. It is also much less difficult to reinstall. The machines also offer greater comfort with an elongated cab. The cabin is two inches wider, with 8 inches of additional knee area and 4 inches more on the foot.

Inside the cab, drivers will also notice the new one-sided abdominal bar and controls and armrests that can be adjusted in 4 directions. There is also a seven-inch color display with six indicators and an operator key code formula that acts as an anti-theft function.

Operators can also use Bluetooth radio and cell phone holder. Other features come with revised pipe routing; Standard LED lighting, front and rear; and a new logo cable package with sealed fuse panels.

“(LED lighting) is a very expensive option presented through many of our competitors and now it’s on those machines,” Storlie said. “There is also optional LED-looking lighting, which will provide 360 degree LED lighting.”

The machine’s new CVC formula, a seven-vent formula to lower cab temperature and increase pressurization.

MAX series machines are also supplied with ASV’s Posi-Track generation. Posi-Track allows for greater traction and weight distribution thanks to a wider track and more wheels. The generation under cart offers! 0% more strength than the competition.
