DJ and producer Avicii has committed suicide, according to several sources interviewed through the US media TMZ.
Avicii, 28, was found dead in Muscat, Oman, on Friday, April 20. Police said there were “no suspicions of wrongdoing” in the case, and a member of his family circle also hinted at suicide.
The TMZ report describes in some detail the alleged cases that led to Avicii’s death, which would possibly disappoint some readers.
Several resources reportedly said that Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, committed suicide with a shard of glass “that caused a large hemorrhage. “Two appeals said the shrapnel came from a broken bottle.
Bergling’s relatives, published last week, said he “could no longer continue” and that he “wanted to find peace. “
Avicii had already warned that “he is going to die” in a documentary released in October.
He had retired from travel in 2016, raising a variety of fitness issues, adding acute pancreatitis, in part due to heavy drinking.
In a documentary called “Avicii: True Stories,” released in October last year, he also continually warned that the traveling lifestyle was going to kill him, but that he was under pressure to keep going.
The family’s previous statement, released early last week, read: “We would like to thank you for your loving words towards our son and brother. We are very grateful to everyone who enjoyed Tim’s music and have fond memories of his songs. “
The official police report and cause of death have yet to be released.
