DC FanDome is only a few days away, but thanks to the introduction of a trademark in Europe, it turns out that a wonderful revelation has been uncovered for The Batman.
Since the camera control revealed The Batman’s dress, it was quite transparent that we were going to have a non-traditional Bat symbol for the next film. But how will that translate into the products? A new brand presentation in Europe turns out to give us an idea.
The trademark presentation includes a list of imaginable products in which it will be used approximately as much as your arm, so it turns out that this is really the symbol we’ll see when products reach the shelves closer to the film’s release. Everything from gardening gloves to banana bags is included in the ranking, so expect to see this symbol at all.
If the symbol has history as some rumors have indicated, we say we’ll hate to see it everywhere.
The complete application can be viewed on the EUIPO website. Thank you to Brian Conroy for the notice.
The Batman is currently scheduled for October 1, 2021. Filming of the film is expected to resume in September.
