‘Baywatch’ Actress Nicole Eggert Blames Breast Implants for Not Detecting Cancer Sooner: ‘Big mistake’

She candidly spoke out about her symptoms, including feeling pain in her breast, as she discovered a large lump.

“When I felt it, my heart dropped, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’” she remembered.

The “Charles in Charge” star claimed she could have gotten cancer faster if she had natural breasts.

“If I hadn’t had them and I hadn’t had my smaller herbal breasts, I would have felt it a lot sooner,” Eggert told “Inside Edition. “

The actress confessed that at the age of 19 she felt compelled to get breast implants, while starring alongside the explosive blonde Pamela Anderson, known for her compatibility figure.

“When I was on ‘Baywatch,’ it was very in to be very thin with big boobs. I was the opposite, so I was wearing this red bathing suit that was flattening me, the one piece, it just, it was like … ‘Oh, man,’” Eggert explained. “There’s nothing you can do. You can’t stuff it.”

Eggert admitted that getting breast implants was a “big mistake. “

“Do the self-exams, and don’t get those implants,” she suggested.

Before Eggert was diagnosed, he had chest pain and gained 25 pounds in 3 months. Believing those were menopausal symptoms, she was surprised to notice a lump at a self-exam in October.

Subsequently, the results showed that she had breast cancer with level 2 cribriform carcinoma. Both Eggerts had cancer.

In March 2023, the FDA released an update on reports of mobile squamous cell carcinoma (MCS) in scar tissue around breast implants, requiring health care to report any cases of cancer in that tissue.

“The FDA is aware of 19 cases of SCC in the capsule around the breast implant based on the published literature,” the update explains. “There are reports in the literature of deaths due to disease progression. Although the FDA continues to report cases of SCC in the capsule around the breast implant it may be uncommon; The cause, incidence, and threat points remain unknown. “

Eggert has two daughters, Keegan, 12, and Dilyn, 25.
