Bee Vectoring Technologies begins multi-year testing in the world’s largest blueberry production market

(CSE: BEE) (CVE: BEE) (OTCQB: BEVVF) (the “Company” or “BVT”) announced a new test of multi-year cranberry studies with the Institute of Sustainable Horticulture (ISH) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in British Columbia (BC), Canada. HSI is a leading educational partnership with the horticultural industries of British Columbia and the community. ISH is helping British Columbia meet the demands of a higher point of sustainability and environmental responsibility in horticulture and urban landscapes.

Canada is the world’s largest producer and exporter of blueberries, after the United States. Canada exports more than 50 million pounds worth Can$125 million of freshly grown blueberries and more than 65 million pounds of frozen blueberries worth Can$94 million. (1) And as one of Canada’s leading blueberry-generating regions, British Columbia is a key BVT technology control region. This multi-year test is based on the momentum BVT has achieved in the U.S. blueberry market. With a successful manufacturers’ agreement in the last development season since EPA approval in 2019.

They are interested in new sustainable disease control teams and are well placed to manage these trials as a leading study group.”

Local manufacturers will be asked for control sites, which will raise awareness and temporarily increase awareness of the BVT formula in British Columbia. The trial will compare and quantify the effectiveness of CR-7, the biological fungicide of BVT, in combating cranberry fungal diseases. The effects of the trial will be presented as a component of the company’s Canadian approval application and will be used as clinical knowledge to market the formula among blueberry producers.

“Blueberries are vulnerable to a number of non-unusual fungal diseases that can wreak havoc on plant health, berry performance and farm life to the dish, adding Colletotrichum (anthranosis), Botrytis (grey mold) and Monilinia (mummy berry),” he continued. Mr. Malik. “The BVT formula has been designed in particular to address these fungal diseases, and we look forward to quantifying innovations in disease and crop performance through multi-year trials with the organization of studies and producer participation.
