January begins with the season three premiere of Hallmark’s fan-favorite series, The Way Home. Both Max and Prime Video are launching a first responder series: Max’s The Pitt follows frontline workers at a hospital in Pittsburgh, while Prime Video’s The Call centers on a rookie and a veteran police officer who patrol Long Beach, California.
This month’s lineup also includes the return of The Night Agent, the drama directed by Gabriel Basso that premiered on Netflix in 2023 and is temporarily one of the streamer’s all-time hits. On Apple TV+, the long-awaited second season of Severance is a must-see for subscribers.

Synopsis: Hallmark Channel’s beloved series The Way Home is set to return for its third season in early January. In this new season, the Landry women will find themselves in the year 1974, during the time when Del met her now-late husband, Colton (Jefferson Brown).

Synopsis: Max’s new original drama series, The Pitt, consists of 15 episodes and offers a realistic examination of the demanding situations faced by healthcare workers in the United States. Noah Wyle leads the cast, which also includes Tracey Ifeachor, Patrick Marron Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif and others.

Synopsis: Get ready to return to the Scottish Highlands, as the third installment of the popular reality show The Traitors premieres this month on Peacock.
