German carmaker BMW will build an all-electric EV edition of its conservative mid-range 5 Series limousine, as the next of its electrification strongly bites its combustion engines.
BMW announced that the company will sell more than 4 million natural electric cars by 2030 and seven million electrified cars in total.
“In ten years, the purpose is to have a total of more than seven million BMW Group electric cars on the roads, about two-thirds of them with an all-electric transmission,” BMW announced.
