The grey is the fifth hull in Tankoa’s S501 series, with an exterior designed by Francesco Paszkowski and a new interior by Giorgio Cassetta. However, this is the first of Tankoa’s EVO models, which stands for “design evolution”.
Built on the basis of hypotheses before the owner stepped in, much of the three-terrace design echoes the previous four units, with the exception of a few customizations made by the owner. Other bespoke highlights are the unique but particularly larger windows in the four bright guest cabins on the lower deck: two doubles and two twins. The owner also requested the use of leather in the interior, rarely white quartzite from Macaubas in the master suite, and plush carpeting on the stairs. Other fabrics come with herbal flamed Indian rosewood, European oak, eucalyptus, and Palissandro Bluette marble. The full-beam, walk-in owner’s suite with walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom is located on the fore main deck, with two asymmetrical pull-down balconies on either side, both with windows that open when the balconies are closed. A VIP can also be discovered on this level, between the master suite and the main living room, which also houses a formal dining room. With integrated terrace spaces, the owner uses the master bedroom and VIP as makeshift offices when needed.
Gray has a top speed of 17. 5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. Its range is 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
