This morning, Boss Team Games announced that it will be released in not one but two video games based on the Halloween film franchise, with John Carpenter participating. The news came out this morning on IGN exclusively for them, as the team showed that the games are lately in development. The team hasn’t revealed what kind of games they’ll run on, other than the fact that they’re said to be horror titles and one of them uses Unreal Engine 5. The team in The Past worked on Evil Dead: The Game, which was a pretty clever edition of the franchise but not as smart as other 1-team vs. We have some quotes from the article below while we wait for more details.
“All of us at Boss Team Games are huge horror fans and Halloween clearly holds a special position in the hearts of all horror enthusiasts,” said Steve Harris, CEO of Boss Team Games. “Getting to paint with iconic characters like Michael Myers and building on John Carpenter’s original Vision is literally a dream come true. Everyone at Boss Team is excited and revered to be working with Malek Akkad and John Carpenter to deliver a unique experience that enthusiasts of the movie and video games will enjoy loving.
