The Boston Celtics will return to hardwood this Sunday afternoon from the Lake Buena Vista bubble at the Walt Disney World Wide World of Sports resort, as opposed to the Toronto Raptors, seeded Number 2:

NBA Weekend Playoffs Calendar (all ET):

Saturday – Orlando – Milwaukee (3.30 p.m.) – Oklahoma City – Houston (6.30 p.m.) – Portland – LA Lakers (9 p.m.)

Sunday – Boston – Toronto (1pm) – LA Clippers – Dallas (3.30pm) – Denver – Utah (8.30pm)

Boston-Toronto will be the first game of two intriguing Games 6 in the Western Conference quarter-finals. The Utah Jazz outsider has a chance to take down Nikola Jokic and No. 3 seed from the Denver Nuggets, while Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angeles Clippers can finish the first round of Luka Doncic’s playoffs with a win in his series.

Of course, the significant maximum effects of NBA player-led boycotts were the voting rights obtained through the league’s resolution of opening the 29 arenas at polling stations for the 2020 elections, as I mentioned earlier in the day:

The replacement occurred due to protests by NBA players over recent tragedies that resulted in the loss and destruction of the lives of black Americans at the hands of law enforcement. The home sand of the Boston Celtics, TD Garden and the other 28 arenas in the house (remember that the Lakers and Clippers have a percentage of Staples Center) will serve as polling places for well-safe polling places for everyone.

It’s a few days’ roller coaster for the NBA on one of the craziest walks of a calendar year ever recorded for human civilization. Games will return to our television, and more importantly, greater tension to eliminate racial violence at the hands of the law and more voting opportunities for oppressed communities will be at the forefront of the league’s return.
