BTS Announces New Upcoming Disney Docuseries

BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star is an eight-episode documentary series about the titans of K-pop. The project heads directly to Disney, which is scheduled for release on December 20. Every Wednesday, two new episodes will be released until it is completed. The schedule is available.

According to a statement announcing the docuseries, it will “take audiences on a profound adventure through the band’s 10-year career, providing insight into the countless obstacles and demanding situations the band faced to achieve the defining milestones of their global career. “, as well as the daily lives and inner minds of the members. Not much else is known about the series, other than the fact that it will feature all seven members, so it was filmed some time ago.

At the time of the announcement, a very brief trailer was also released. It includes only an excerpt of each of the group’s seven singers (RM, Jin, Jung Kook, Suga, V, J-Hope, and Jimin) speaking very briefly. about his own music and his club in this historic group.

Throughout their decade together, the Grammy-nominated boy band has appeared in several series and truth systems in different styles and tones, some available entirely online. Programs like Run BTS! and BTS in the Soop have attracted millions of viewers. The band has also released a dozen concert films and documentaries, some of which have been released in theaters around the world and have grossed millions at the box office. Their most recent film, BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas, arrived in February 2023.

BTS has been on hiatus for over a year, and the reason for this transient split is twofold. Several of the group’s singers are busy completing their mandatory military service, which all men in South Korea will be required to complete before a certain age. The other singers who have not yet enlisted are busy with their solo careers, which are doing well in countries such as the United States and, of course, South Korea.
