BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Acrobatics Team Level Some accusations in Showrunner Joss Whedon

Justice League star Ray Fisher recently made headlines, accusing Joss Whedon of misconduct and abusive habit while the director directed the film’s covers. Now, several other damaging accusations have been shared via Metro, this time related to Whedon’s time in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The show’s stunt coordinator, Jeff Pruitt, has called the filmmaker “selfish” and claims he told his now-wife, the action double Sophia Crawford, to end their relationship if she sought to remain on the hit series.

“In season four, I was fed up and told them I was going to run Second Unit in some other series,” Pruitt says of what has become a tense date with Whedon as the series was successful. “The manufacturers told me that Joss reacted as if I were having an affair or something behind him.”

Apparently, that’s when Whedon asked Crawford to be part of Buffy the Vampire Slayer… as long as she broke up with Pruitt. “I called the workplace and gave it an ultimatum,” he recalls. And they said, ‘Go back to the show, but you have to leave Jeff or you won’t come back.’ And then I started crying. And I said, “F you. It’s horrible, bye.”

While those claims obviously involve potentially unreal behavior, it also doesn’t seem to be Whedon’s biggest crime, and it’s probably anything that happens in Hollywood productions where there’s bad blood. So far, no other big star has opposed the director, and no one in his time in The Avengers has shared negative comments.
