Lights, camera, lots of action: Hollywood takes time to restart in a pandemic

While the home audience eagerly awaits new displays of the coronavirus pandemic, Hollywood has been slow to get the cameras up and running, even with quarantine sets and inventions like love scenes with mannequins. Only a fraction of film and television productions resumed filming in Los Angeles and elsewhere in the United States, where coronavirus cases are on the rise. Los Angeles County, home to the world’s largest film and television studios, gave the green light in June for filming to resume with guarantees.
