Chris Brown has filed a $500 million defamation lawsuit in a documentary that alleges sexual assault.
The US singer shared details in a statement from his lawyers, posted on social media, which announced he was suing Warner Bros and producers Ample, along with other individuals.
It comes after the documentary Chris Brown: A History of Violence, which he published in October last year.
An ID spokesman, the Warner Bros documentary network, will be next to the program.
The demand, noticed through Sky News, accuses manufacturers of transmitting a program that “full of lies and deception” after “providing evidence that their false data. “
The accusations of a call Jane Doe in the documentary have been “repeatedly discredited,” Brown’s lawyers said in the judicial document.
Brown, 35, “has never been found to blame any crime related to SexArray. . . but this documentary declares in a way that he is a serial rapist and a sexual attacker,” they add.
The singer publicly declared his “past mistakes” and approached them in his own documentary, Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life, launched in 2017, to the demand.
