The new resident who moved to the city of Erlanger last year turned out to be a smart neighbor.
Since it opened its large 300,000-square-foot, $33 million distribution facility at the former Showcase Cinemas site, Coca-Cola Consolidated has welcomed its new neighbors through an enthusiastic and common supporter of lifeguards, businesses, residents, academics and the city.
“We have built a wonderful relationship with the city of Erlanger,” said Morris Howard, director of culture and commitment for Coca-Cola Consolidated. “We need to do what we can to help and be a component of the community, and Mayor Jessica Fette and the city have continually asked us if they can do anything for us. It’s a genuine component.”
“Coke Consolidated has been a wonderful company to work with the city and already has a leading business spouse,” Mayor Fette said. “Every time I call Morris, he’s willing to help.
Earlier this summer, Coke Consolidated donated and delivered bottled water and Powerade as a component of the celebration of thanks to the city’s first responders, which the company sponsored in collaboration with the city. The event, which also included the dismantling of public works in the city, was designed to show appreciation to those who continue to face precautions and other responsibilities similar to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We talked to the mayor to let him know that we actually seek out and inspire first responders and other people in the city who are on the front line,” Howard said. “They deal with cases and conditions, COVID disorders or not, in which a general user never has to enter and cannot refuse. That’s why we seek to show you a little love and appreciation for what you do every day. . »
Coke Consolidated also participated in this summer’s Drive-Thru Grill Out, which took place on June 19 at the Erlanger City Building and was jointly sponsored through City and Colonial Cottage. Once again, they donated drinks for the occasion to take advantage of the city’s E-Angel program.
As a component of the Erlanger E-Angel program, Erlanger police social worker Becky Strouse supplies and produce to citizens in need, adding nutrition, education, intellectual health, housing and employment.
“Morris identified the importance of the E-Angel program to our city and our residents, and introduced himself to Array,” Mayor Fette said. “Coca-Cola Consolidated continues a glorious culture in Erlanger, where the city and the networked paintings business combine to make this position a wonderful position to live and paint.”
Coke Consolidated also supports education in the communities where the company operates. Howard visited the best local schools and talked to academics about homework opportunities. Three years ago, the company introduced a youth progression platform program that offers schools.
“I regularly communicate to kids the learning skills they’re going to need, building a resume, interviewing techniques and more,” Howard said. “It’s really fun to meet genuine academics and give them the opportunity to ask questions, because we have a lot of smart data to share. But besides, you never know what a student is going to ask!”
Coca-Cola Consolidated is Coca-Cola’s largest bottler in the United States, a company that distributes more than three hundred brands and flavors in 14 states to more than 66 million customers.
But the company prides itself on operating more as a small business in a community, said Jennifer Richmond, the company’s director of government affairs.
“When we have an installation in a local netpaintings, we work hard to build local connections and an active component of that netpaintings,” Richmond said. “But we don’t have a standard approach. We communicate to local stakeholders, paintings to identify the desires of netpaintings and position ourselves to fulfill one’s desires and opportunities. For us, it’s about being a smart neighbor and building lasting relationships with netpaintings. And that’s what we do at Erlanger.”
