Coca-Cola grants acquisitions to some 4,000 workers

Coca-Cola is proposing voluntary acquisitions to around 4,000 more people for the number of layoffs it says will take up position while streamlining operations.

Coca-Cola is cutting the number of its individual segments from 17 to nine, which says it will lead to a “voluntary and involuntary” reduction.

Rationalization is positioned in a difficult time for Coca-Cola and almost all corporations hosting social events.

Half of Coca-Cola’s sales come from stadiums, theaters and other places where other people gather in gigantic numbers, places that were closed by the coronavirus pandemic. Revenue fell 28% in the last quarter of the Atlanta-based company.

The first grant circular will go to others applying in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, whose recent maximum hiring date is September 1, 2017.

Expenses similar to those of compensation systems are expected to be approximately $350 million to $550 million.
