David Tennant’s “good” game in the West End has been delayed until 2021

Tennant was able to play the role of John Halder, “a decent, intelligent and passionate German music instructor” who gradually began to internalize the ideology of world War II of the Third Reich. Basically, it’s a story that explores how so-called “smart” other people can not only allow, but settle for the horrors of Nazism. While Tennant’s roles tend to move violently from the circle of relatives in the area from doctors to demons and brain-control killers, it turns out to be well placed to capture the disintegration of Halder’s ethical compass. For a likely healthy father who loves Coldplay, he’s extraordinarily smart betting on the bad guy (not a hit for Tennant, this guy really likes his Coldplay).

The wait is long until 2021, however, here’s the good news: Tennant will play this leading role in the spring, and those who get tickets will take precedence for the new dates.

The play’s director, Dominic Cooke, said: “I can’t wait to get into a practice room with David Tennant, Fenella Woolgar and Elliot Levey. CP Taylor’s work, which deals with collective denial, is more applicable than ever.”
