Despicable Me 4 Savage Souvenir Cup We’re Officially In A New Era Of Weird Food Containers

I’d long wanted to go back to the days of film marketing in the ’90s, where it seemed like each and every wonderful movie had some sort of commemorative advertising connection to its release. It seems like those days are in spite of each and every one of the All back, and we have the sexually suggestive popcorn bucket in Dune 2 to thank. Despicable Me Four is the newest movie that gets weird with a food container, and I mean that very seriously when I say I’m here for this. new era of cinema.

Don’t worry, the kids’ movie didn’t do anything as suggestive as Deadpool’s wild bucket of popcorn, and while Despicable Me 4 has its own bucket of popcorn on the way, that’s not what made me laugh out loud this morning. a viral TikTok by @CelineCardina, which previews purchasable beverage packaging similar to the children’s film. It’s too ridiculous for words, so take a look below:

For those who are getting ready with their kids and watching Despicable Me videos to get ready for the fourth movie, can there be a better gift?I can’t say I’ve ever wanted to drink out of my head. of a cone-headed Minion with superpowers, but I do know that if my young daughter saw it for sale while waiting in line to buy her snacks, it would be the only dream she would have ever had.

Apparently, they’ll only be on sale at Cinemark theaters, so if you’re a lover of quirky merchandise and the glorious twist of the Minions in Despicable Me 4, now would be the time to look for a theater. That said, it looks like this will be a hot item that will fly off shelves quickly, as the cup holder video garnered over a million likes in just one day on TikTok. Whether out of genuine interest or irony, many other people are interested in this cut.

As I mentioned, movie vending devices like this were my problem when I was a kid. I had the Disney Burger King glasses in my kitchen as a kid, the glow-in-the-dark Casper puppet from the Pizza Hut collaboration, and many other pieces. I’ve lost ever since. Honestly, the fact that I’m so nostalgic for those things makes me need to buy them for my own son, even if a Minion cup holder is rarely the most practical thing I can have.

Also, I’m going to see Despicable Me 4 in theaters anyway because it’s one of the most productive children’s videos to take to a kid right now. For all the complaints Minions get for being boring and adults who think Disney videos are vastly superior, they’re legitimately funny videos that, at times, captured my son’s attention more than some of Disney’s supposedly more sophisticated offerings.

Despicable Me 4 hits theaters on Wednesday, July 3. This makes for a wonderful viewing right before the 4th of July fireworks, so I wonder if Inside Out 2 will still crash into the box when it arrives.
