Days after Bella Thorne said she was involved with Sean Baker in a film in OnlyFans, the director denies being concerned about the project.
“I need to explain that the news that I’m making a film (documentary or fictional narrative) in OnlyFans and employing Bella Thorne as studios is false.I’m NOT committed to this project,” Baker said on a Friday.
The filmmaker said she had a verbal exchange in early August with Thorne about a remote collaboration that could simply “focus on her life and the cases that led her to enroll in OnlyFans.”
“During this call, I begged your team to consult with the sex staff and discuss how they did so they would NOT harm the sex painting industry.That was the scope of my involvement,” Baker said.”I am a best friend and I have the best liter friend faithful to my career to tell stories that stigmatize and normalize the lifestyles that are being attacked.I would never do anything that could harm the community.”
In his statement, Baker clarified that he has two other feature films that have nothing to do with Ms. Thorne or OnlyFans.His past films have been shot with non-professional actors for the first time, adding “Starlet”.Tangerine “and” The Florida Project.”
Thorne did not respond to a request for comment on Friday.
