Jan. 10 (UPI) — Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros Discovery have ended their efforts to start a combined sports streaming service called Venu, the company said on Friday.
An antitrust case issued its fear that Warner Bros. and Disney’s ESPN and Fox would account for more than 50% of all U. S. sports media rights and at least 60% of all U. S. domestic broadcast rights.
“After careful examination, we jointly agreed to avoid joint venture sports and release streaming services,” the corporations said in a joint statement.
“In a constant market, we decided that it was more productive Grateful for the personal venu that we will help this time of transition. “
