Disney presents Television, ending century fox TV era

We’ve listened to the well-known trumpet band for decades on television screens with the 20th Century Fox Television logo. He reached the end of the episode of The Simpsons, Modern Family, American Dad, King of the Hill, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other systems that were once under the aegis of Fox. Now, about 18 months since Disney ended its agreement to get Fox’s movie and television properties, Mouse House has officially withdrawn this family call and ended an era of television.

Announced Monday, 20th Century Fox Television will remove “Century” and “Fox” from its name to be named from now on as 20th Television. Disney also shared the new business card that will play among the credits of its exhibits this fall, fanfare still included.

This is part of several other changes, adding ABC Studios becoming ABC Signature and Touchstone Television resurging what was once Fox 21 Television Studio. These moves make sense at a critical point to make it clear that Disney homes are not similar to Fox Corporation, which still owns Fox News, Fox Sports and Fox Entertainment.

The first to leave 20th Century Fox. In early January, Disney changed the name of the film department, which houses the X-Men and Avatar films, to 20th-century Studios. Fox Searchlight, the specialized department that has released films such as The Shape of Water and Jojo Rabbit, has been renamed Searchlight Pictures.

Disney Television Studios President Craig Hunegs said of these new developments: “The new names and logos of our studios mark a new day for ABC Signature, 20th Television and Touchstone Television while honoring its rich history and the artistic strength of The Walt Disney. Company.”
