Disney World has issued some warnings to consumers who plan to stop at Disney Springs when it gradually reopens on May 20, one of which appears to imply that Disney Parks is exempt from liability by anyone inflamed with a coronavirus on their journey.

“There is an inherent threat of exposure to COVID-19 in any public position where other people are present. COVID-19 is an incredibly contagious disease that can lead to serious illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, seniors and customers with underlying medical situations are especially vulnerable,” reads in a “COVID-19” warning published on the Disney Springs website.
“By visiting Disney Springs, voluntarily all the dangers associated with exposure to COVID-19.”

The warnings were posted on Disney’s online page the same weekend disney World revealed its newest highlights related to the reopening of Disney Springs, the department store and restaurant community formerly known as Downtown Disney.
“Be assured that there is a lot of magic waiting for you in Disney Springs; it would possibly seem a little different from before,” wrote Matt Simon, vice president of Disney Springs, in a Disney Parks blog post shared Saturday.

Among the things that “may seem a little different,” the blog showed that there would be limited parking features and limited entries, as well as reduced capacity limits, for traffic and visitor flow. There will also be temperature projections at the 4 inningss in Disney Springs. Those with temperatures above 100.4 degrees F will be directed somewhere else to re-select; if they are back above 100.4 degrees, they will be denied entry, just like their group.
Once in the park, all visitors over 3 years old must wear masks. They will also be subject to new physical distance protocols, some of which will be indicated by marks on the floor of physical barriers. Those who buy or purchase in Disney Springs are also encouraged to opt for cashless transactions whenever possible.
“Everything we do in this unprecedented era is at the service of our guests, our actors and our third participants in the exploitation, who will also stick to these new rules in your country,” the blog article reads.

Most of the measures implemented in the reopening of Disney Springs reflect those in its position at the recently reopened Shanghai Disneyland, which resumed operations on May 11. official blog post that says the reopening of Shanghai Disneyland “is an encouraging sign for Disney parks and outlets around the world.”
