Disney World actors and singers return to the park after reaching an agreement to get Covid-19 tests at work

A leading company focused on virtual transformation.

ORLANDO, Florida (AP) – Walt Disney World and the guild of its actors and singers came to a deal Wednesday that will allow them to return to work, more than a month after they said they were excluded from reopening the park hotel theme so it is not an easy public test.

The Actors’ Equity Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding that allows actors, singers and level managers to return to their paintings after Disney agreed to have a COVID-19 state check for Florida theme park staff and others, according to the union, representing 750 Disney World Staff.

“We are convinced that testing is a vital detail to secure an office for fair players, and today I am pleased to see that Disney World has accepted,” kate Shindle, chair of the Actors’ Equity Association, said in a statement.

Disney officials did not respond to an email request.

Actors’ Equity Association filed a complaint against Disney World, alleging that its members were retaliated against non-easy coronavirus testing prior to the reopening of Disney World theme parks to visitors last month after being closed since March due to the pandemic. About 220 actors and singers were first called to return to work, but the invitation was cancelled after the union made public their considerations of the lack of evidence, according to the union.

It was not known how many actors and singers would be retired now that an agreement has been signed.
