Yesterday, the Kickstarter page of the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes officially published and was looking for $500,000. It didn’t take long, he got over the target and kept moving forward. The number of participants now stands at more than 13,000 (updated: it has exceeded 14,000 by writing this) with 31 days before the end of the crowdfunding process. But what if you need to pay attention to a preview of the OST?
The game was created through former Suikoden staff members and has Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano at the helm. And a video was released showing a pattern of the game’s soundtrack and was composed through Motoi Sakuraba. He’s probably familiar with Motoi Sakuraba’s paintings over the years on video game soundtracks, but to keep things more modern, his paintings include Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Dark Souls, Tales of Xillia and many others.
The soundtrack gives an epic sound that begins smoothly and swells to an orchestral blast of music. This soundtrack will be in the game, but Kickstarter contributors will be able to recover a CD or even a vinyl version. The soundtrack will also come with music through Michiko Naruke.
It is also specified that some potential composers may simply register to help us shape the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes soundtrack. Although this “list” includes Procyon Studios, it turns out that the team is considering recruiting more songwriters. As noted, Procyon Studios is indexed and it also turns out that it has already composed background music for when a character crosses a field.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a new JRPG logo that turns out to come with a hundred characters in the story and will address the PC with minimal purpose with release plans on PS5 and Xbox Series X due to ambitious purposes actually achieved.
