Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes temporarily moves to Kickstarter’s purpose as they all throw cash at Suikoden’s successor

Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes opened its Kickstarter page on July 27 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Subsequently, the game created through Suikoden’s ex almost reached its minimum purpose of $500,000 in less than two hours. The game will be fully funded in a matter of minutes if the same speed is maintained.

Update: The initial goal of $500K has been reached, Yoshitaka Murayama thanks Twitter enthusiasts:

Extensible lenses come with several hot features:

750K dollars would go up a Fortress mode. This results in an army control formula for Suikoden games, where you can manage your base, chat with members of the organization, etc.

Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is designed for PC with its ultimate purpose. However, the $1 million bonus threshold will unlock console versions, adding PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. The page teases you that more targets will come.

On the Kickstarter page, the official description of the Eiyuden Chronicle confirms that more than a hundred characters can be played. The fighting formula will use 6 members of the organization and the game graphics, as shown in the screenshots, will combine 2D sprites with 3-d backgrounds.

The Kickstarter and assignment definitely seem forged and promising, especially since the team claims to have studied the main Kickstarters so far, to repeat the same mistakes. We will make sure to keep an eye on this company from Suiko’s former staff.

Finally, the Kickstarter page also includes a great and fun introductory video with Yoshitaka Murayama being recruited through Junko Kawano, Junichi Murakami, Osamu Komuta, with Rabbit and Bear Studios. They all end up fighting a rebel leader who happens to be Koji Igarashi of Bloodstained. The video ends with a full preview of the game, revealing the gameplay for the first time.

Personally, what moved me most as a French otaku was the way junichi Murakami is seen dressed in a Nolife T-shirt. Nollife was an otaku culture, not necessarily a Japanese culture, a thematic channel in France that existed from June 2007 to April 2018. I wouldn’t write here if it wasn’t for Nolife. The channel had multiple links to mythical Japanese personalities and developers, as shown through the ongoing Archipelago program, which began as Toco Toco at Nolife. it’s smart to see the living legacy.

Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is scheduled for the fall of 2022. You can read the main points of the first story here and the profiles of the protagonists.
