Every Movie Coming To Amazon Prime This Weekend

And August will be no different. There are over one dozen new movies hitting Amazon Prime this weekend, with several more coming throughout the month.

In total, 14 different movies will be added to Amazon Prime’s video library this weekend—here’s every one of them.

Plot summary: Outlaw Ben Wade terrorizes 1800s Arizona, especially the Southern Railroad, until he is finally captured. Wade must be brought to trial, so Dan Evans, the owner of a drought-stricken ranch, volunteers to escort him to the train. Along the trail, a grudging respect forms between the men, but danger looms at every turn, and the criminal’s men are in pursuit.

3:10 to Yuma stars Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Peter Fonda, Gretchen Mol, Ben Foster, Dallas Roberts, Alan Tudyk, Vinessa Shaw and Logan Lerman. The film was directed by James Mangold.

Plot summary: Lovable Englishman Charles and his group of friends seem to be unlucky in love. When Charles meets a beautiful American named Carrie at a wedding, he thinks his luck may have changed. As Charles and Carrie’s paths continue to cross—over a handful of nuptials and one funeral—he comes to believe they are meant to be together, even if their timing always seems to be off.

Four Weddings and a Funeral stars Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, Simon Callow, James Fleet, John Hannah, Charlotte Coleman, David Bower, Corin Redgrave and Rowan Atkinson. The film was directed by Mike Newell.

Plot summary: When car dealer Charlie Babbitt learns that his estranged father has died, he returns home to Cincinnati, where he discovers that he has an autistic older brother named Raymond and that his father’s $3 million fortune is being left to the mental institution in which Raymond lives. Motivated by his father’s money, Charlie checks Raymond out of the facility in order to return with him to Los Angeles. The brothers’ cross-country trip ends up changing both their lives.

Rain Man stars Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise, Valeria Golino, Jerry Molen, Ralph Seymour, Michael D. Roberts, Bonnie Hunt, Beth Grant, Lucinda Jenney and Barry Levinson. The film was directed by Barry Levinson.

Rustler’s Rhapsody stars Tom Berenger, G. W. Bailey, Marilu Henner, Fernando Rey and Andy Griffith. The film was directed by Hugh Wilson.

Diabetic Shelby has a health scare, which is averted but doesn’t bode well for her hopes of having children. Time passes, and the women and their friends encounter tragedy and good fortune, growing stronger and closer in the process.
