The syndicated game screen produced the first episodes of the next season behind closed doors
“Family Feud” plans to return to his Atlanta studio to film new episodes, a person familiar with the series told TheWrap.
Production of the new season had been shared between Los Angeles and Atlanta, with some early episodes filmed behind closed doors in California. When the studio reopens on August 4, the display will adopt COVID-19 protocols, adding minimal equipment in place and more space between host Steve Harvey and competitors. “Family Feud” will be filmed without an audience.
The new season is scheduled to begin on September 14.
The game screen is produced through Fremantle North America and is distributed through Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury. “Family Feud” was the number one factor in the overall syndication of the highly impacted momently quarter of COVID-19, according to Nielsen’s National Distribution Ranking.
