NEWS. . . BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
The audience of Umbrella Academy mourns the end of the hit Netflix series before the final season hits screens.
Based on the comic book series of the same name, the superhero series revolves around a dysfunctional circle of family members of superhero siblings in a row who come together to solve the mystery of their father’s death and the risk of an impending apocalypse.
The series, released in 2019, stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan and Aidan Gallagher.
One of Netflix’s most streamed series to date, two more seasons have since been released and the fourth will air tomorrow on the platform.
However, when it announced that a fourth season was in the works last year, Netflix also announced that it would be its last.
As the end of the final six episodes approaches, many enthusiasts have expressed their devastation at the series finale.
“Is there anyone else who gets really excited at the end of the UAW?” User XCX posted on X.
“The way I so need the fourth series of #theumbrellaacademy, but also don’t do it because I don’t need it to end, is so confusing. My feelings are very mixed,” CuraDara shared.
“I’m crying, I don’t need this to end,” Melorzo added.
Meanwhile, SunSoar25 added: “I can’t wait to watch season 4 and see them all again, but I’m really nervous for them and I don’t need it to end!”
Another said he hoped there would be a “sobbing mess” at the end, while another said he “wasn’t in a position to pass up the display. “
When it was time to sing, the reactions were strong from those who watched the episodes.
“I just finished #TheUmbrellaAcademy and I don’t know how to move on,” Bluredbuddie commented.
“I know very well that I invested in this series and those characters to end WTF like this,” siisizze posted.
“This exhibition brought me a lot of peace the first 3 seasons and to finish like this. I’m devastated. Distraught and almost betrayed as GoT enthusiasts watched Season 8,” Ven shared.
When the end of the exhibition was announced, The Umbrella Academy’s official account wrote on social media: “Family reunion, Brellies: we are embarking on a fourth and final adventure. “
The advertisement accompanied it through the symbol of an umbrella, with the number “4” inside, with the legend: “The last season. “
The last season of the show ended with a first twist (spoilers ahead), there is a new timeline dictated by the family patriarch, Reginald (Colm Feore), and the brothers no longer have their powers.
The stakes are higher than ever, with new enemies about to see them disappear from existence.
