Forget Apple Watch Series 6: Apple Watch SE can be here in a few days

Apple is about to release Apple Watch Series 6, yet the newest rumors recommend that along it it will update the Apple Watch Series 3, a more version, dubbed Apple Watch SE.Apple would possibly call it anything else, yet I refer to it as SE for simplicity here.

The call refers to the iPhone SE, which has noticed two versions, taking an previous hardware design and supercharged it with the newest processor.

Apple Watch Series 3 is a very popular smartwatch because it is very affordable (priced at $199 and more), but it’s a hardware that was first released in 2017.Therefore, not only does it have a design that has now been brilliantly updated with the Apple Watch four and five series (and Series 6, soon), however, its processor is starting to look slow compared to newer models and lacks features like drop detection and ECG measurement.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, when Apple launches Series 6, it will also announce this new model more, if this is true, it’s a surprise, because past rumors have connected the Apple Watch SE with a release date in spring 2021.

According to Gurman, the less expensive style would upgrade to the Apple Watch Series 3, designed to challenge fitness trackers like Fitbit.

Apple likes to recycle, so this new watch can take on the design of the Apple Watch Series 3 as it is, but it offers all the power, speed and capability of the newer model, but much cheaper.

I suppose some features will miss the SE, like the ECG that requires another virtual crown, but I’m probably wrong. Changing crowns is quite easy, it’s more about whether Apple needs to save this as a feature for its dearest.Models.

Then there’s the question of time. Famed forecaster Jon Prosser said the Apple Watch would be announced next week (the week that begins September 7), although it was recently opened to the concept that the watch could be announced later, along with the iPhone 12, in October.

My non-public idea is that if there are two watches, as Gurman says, October is the favorite: pronouncing an Apple Watch through a press release is unlikely, but possible, while two new watches are too advertising not to appear at an Apple event.(virtual).

Eight other Apple Watch models have just been indexed in the Eurasia Economics database, so two of them are the Apple Watch SE, which we’ll be locating in the coming weeks or, more excitingly, in a few days.

I’ve been writing about the generation for two decades and I’m surprised at how the industry is moving from unexpected innovation to persistent repetitiveness.
