A Reddit post from TemptedTemplar shared an email inviting players to participate in the event, while the game’s subreddit also includes other people who won the invite. “You are invited to play Gigantic (again) our limited-time comeback event,” reads the email sent to Reddit user HeirOfRhoads.
The event will take place from October 5 at noon Pacific / 3:00 PM EST / 8:00 PM UK until October 6 at 9:00 PM Pacific / Eastern, i. e. October 7 at 5:00 AM from United Kingdom. It’s unclear if players other than those who won the email will be able to play.
Players will even be able to enjoy “never-before-seen features” according to the email, adding a Rush mode, a new loading system, and “renewed content. ” Competitive team action in groups of five heroes.
Gigantic closure in July 2018, a few months after the closure of developer Motiga in November 2017. “The current state of the game restricts features for additional progress and updates to applicable content, as well as offering fundamental features while fixing long-term issues. “Notable problems have been more confusing than expected,” reads the announcement of the closure.
