Moviegoers can now read e-books to see the latest box office hits after Vue Cinema announced the reopening of their Newcastle screens.

The High Street cinema is due to reopen on Friday, August 21, with social estrangement measures in place.

Vue focused on five key spaces for consumers to film as safely as possible:

Stuart Shepherd, CEO of Vue Newcastle-Under-Lyme, said: “We are excited to be ready to reopen our cinema once we return and look forward to welcoming viewers soon.

“We have worked hard to ensure that our here at Newcastle-Under-Lyme complies with protection protocols in accordance with the latest government guidelines.”

All security measures will also be clearly noted at the entrances and the building, and will be consistent with public and government aptitude guidelines.

Guests must wear a mask during their visit, although it may get rid of it for food and drink. Customers should also participate in the Test-Trace initiative to protect themselves and others.

Stuart said: “We need filmmakers in Newcastle and the surrounding domain to know that the quality of our visual delight remains unchanged and that consumers will continue to enjoy the quality of audio and symbols in big-screen entertainment, especially with the upcoming release of the long-awaited heated titles like Tenet.

We hope viewers will be excited like us through the return to the big screen where videos like this are intended to be seen.
